North Sails Vists the ISC Race Team
Special thanks go out to Kerry Poe of Wyckam Canvas, Oregon's North Sails loft, http://wyckam.com/. This past Monday Kerry gave a pre-race lecture to the race team about timing racing starts. He then joined them on the water to observe and give pointers to the crews. After the race they all gathered and talked about how sail the Santana 20s for 2 hours. An incredible experience for all those involved. Again a big thanks to Kerry for taking his night to spend with us!

PDX: (ASA 119) WEATHER ENDORSEMENT . Saturday and Sunday, October 25th / 26th . 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
ASA’s Weather Endorsement teaches the practical application of both atmospheric science and oceanography in relation to sailing. You will gain a fundamental understanding of weather, its interaction with the sea, as well as squalls, fronts, storms, atmospheric pressure, global wind patterns and how they influence the planning and execution of your sail, locally and globally. Anyone who ventures onto the water can benefit from this course – dinghy to tall-ship sailors, racers or cruisers, offshore or lake-bound sailors will all find merit in this class. Class Fee: Members $245.00 - Public $275.00 Taught by ISC Member David Wilkinson.
